Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation Annual General Meeting

Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation held its Annual General Meeting at Jesse’s Tap and Grill in Ennismore, Ontario with reprsentatives of Chapter Club’s in attendance discussing the year in review, the year to come, electing the Board of Directors and presenting awards for the past years accomplishments.

Guest speaker included and thanks to Dave Mercer for attending and providing some great insight into the B.A.S.S. Elites and his own career.

Shimano Angling All Stars – What an incredible evening!

Wow is all the Ontario B.A.S.S Nation can say about last night’s Angling All Stars event which was presented by Shimano Canada!
The Ontario B.A.S.S Nation’s Youth group raised $3000 which will directly benefit the 3 teams of Youth members that will be heading South next year to compete in the High School and Junior Championships!
The 3 x Dakota Lithium batteries raised $2400 which will go to the Ontario B.A.S.S Nation.
$5400 raised, 3 fantastic speakers, some great stories, free swag, a boat load of draw prizes and free popcorn! Not a bad Wednesday out with friends!
Many thanks to Bob Mahoney and Shimano Canada, “The Champ” Jeff Gustafson, the “Young Gun” Cooper Gallant and the “Product Professor” JP DeRose. All 3 seminars were fantastic and enjoyed by all!
Also, a special thank you to those brands that graciously donated product to the raffles. This could not have happened without the help from Shimano, G Loomis, Dakota Lithium, Simms, Power Pro, VMC, Landmark Cinema, etc. I apologize if we missed anybody (I’m sure I did).
