March 18, 2023: B.A.S.S. National Kayak Championship

Five anglers that qualified from the 2022 Ontario Bass Nation Kayak Bassmasters Championship will start their quest for the BASS National Kayak Championship title.

Chris VIsser, Justin Awram, Paul Buchan, Chis Butzen and Brady Williams will be at the two day event that will take place in Tennesse on Lake Chickamauga March 22 and 23. where they will be competing againt 127 of the best kayak anglers from the USA that have qualified through their State Championships and through the BASS Nation Series events. A special mention goes out to fellow Ontario Kayak Bassmaster member Eric Turcotte who is also participating in the event having qualified through the AOY standing for the BASS NAtion Series.

Lets give these guys our support and wish them luck. And if you are down at the Classic, make sure you check out the Friday weigh in as the top 10 kayak anglers will be doing their awards on the big stage prior to the Elites to see who walks away with the $20k top prize. Hopefully we will have Ontario represented on the big stage again this year.
