Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation will be well represented at the Spring Fishing and Boat Show.
Clubs from all over Ontario will be manning the booth providing information and sharing stories about the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation and their own respective clubs.
Come and join us this Family Day Weekend!
On March 20-21, six Ontario anglers will be in Tahlequah, Oklahoma participating in the 2024 B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship on Lake Tenkiller. In the world of competitive kayak bass fishing, this is the equivalent of the Bassmaster Classic. Anglers qualify for this event through their placings in the individual BASS Nation Opens and AOY standings and through their State/Provincial Nation Championships.
This year, The Ontario Bass Nation will be sending six anglers to the Championship. All these anglers qualified through the 2023 Ontario Bass Nation Kayak Bassmaster Championship which was held on Stoney Lake August 26-27. Representing Ontario this year will be Kris Totosko, Shane Fernandez, Andrew Maguire, Ian Hodgkins, Owen Brock, and Chris Wdowiak.
The team will be competing as individuals and going up against a stacked field of 120 of the top kayak bass anglers in North America. On the line is the coveted trophy as Champion and a payout of $25K+.
Keep your eye on the event on the Ontario Kayak Bassmasters page through the live leaderboard that we will have posted. And let’s hope we see these guys on the Big Stage at the day one weigh-in for the Classic in Tulsa on Friday March 22. Be sure to cheer them on if you are there.
Congratulation to all the qualifiers and good luck on Tenkiller
